New Member Nolan Parker
Nolan has been a member of Western Colorado horse for a full year as of this January. Nolan is one of the few (but very welcome) members who didn’t have any experience before joining the Western Colorado Equine club.
Nolan took advantage of our training program to go from no experience to a volunteer youth trainer! That’s right! Nolan recently started volunteering to help train our youngest riders who are just getting started.
This fits perfectly with Nolan who is a middle school teacher in Aurora (Go Mustangs!)and is the proud father of 3 young boys.
Nolan said he joined the equine club because his wife had grown up riding but they had never actually been together. His wife felt it was important that their children learn to ride as she felt the freedom of the Colorado trails was an important part of her childhood.
Nolan didn’t want to be left out and as a birthday present to himself, he purchased a membership and training package.
The Parker family has a riding trip planned in southern Colorado this spring. We are so happy to see a family bond over the sport and hobby we love!
Thanks for joining Nolan and we expect a trip report come spring!
